This Privacy Policy applies to the CastDay: Video & Podcast Studio mobile application, referred to as the “Application”.
The Application was created by Make Life Easy Apps IOS, referred to as the “Service Provider”, as a free service.
This service is provided “AS IS”.
Information Collection and Use
The Application is designed to help users edit videos, clean audio, record podcast-style content, compress media,
convert supported formats, prepare social content, and share output files.
The Application may collect or process information when you download and use it. This information may include:
- Device Internet Protocol address, such as IP address
- Device model, operating system version, and app version
- Advertising ID or similar device identifiers, where permitted
- App interactions, such as screens used, ad interactions, and feature usage
- Crash, diagnostic, and performance information from third-party services where available
- Firebase Cloud Messaging registration token if push notifications are enabled
- Notification preferences and notification interaction data
- Approximate location inferred by third-party services such as ads providers, where applicable
The Application does not request or collect precise GPS location.
Media Files and Local Processing
The Application may access photos, videos, audio files, microphone, or camera only when needed for a feature you choose to use.
Core media features such as editing, conversion, compression, audio extraction, trimming, merging, recording, and supported
noise reduction are designed to process files on your device where available.
The Application does not upload your selected audio, video, or photo files to the Service Provider’s server in the current release.
Some files may be copied into app cache or temporary storage so processing can work correctly. Output files may be saved locally
or shared only when you choose to save or share them.
Permissions
The Application may request the following permissions depending on the feature used:
- Photos, videos, or audio access: to import and edit selected media files
- Microphone: to record audio or podcast-style content
- Camera or camera intent access: to record or capture content when you choose camera features
- Storage or media access: to open, save, export, and share processed files
- Notifications: to send creator updates, podcast tips, feature updates, and optional promotional messages if you enable push notifications
- Internet: to load ads, consent forms, Google Play links, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and related online services
Third-Party Services
The Application uses third-party services that may collect information according to their own privacy policies.
Third-party services used by the Application may include:
- Google Play Services
- Google AdMob
- Google User Messaging Platform / consent tools
- Firebase Cloud Messaging
These services may collect or process information such as device identifiers, Advertising ID, IP address, app interactions,
diagnostics, crash information, notification registration tokens, notification interaction data, and ad performance data.

Advertising
The Application may show ads to free users through Google AdMob.
Depending on your region and consent choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. The Application may use Google’s
consent tools to request and manage ad consent where required.
If you deny tracking or personalized ads where such choices are available, the Application should remain usable, although ads may
still be shown where allowed by law and platform rules.
The Application may use banner ads, inline ads, interstitial ads, or rewarded ads. Rewarded ads are optional and provide an
in-app benefit only after the ad reward is completed.
Push Notifications
The Application may use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send push notifications if you enable notifications.
Notifications may include creator updates, podcast tips, feature updates, app announcements, and optional promotional messages.
You can disable push notifications from the Application’s Notification Settings screen or from your device settings.
If notifications are disabled, the Application will attempt to unsubscribe from notification topics.
External Links and Sharing
The Application may include links to Google Play, developer pages, privacy information, or other external websites.
These external websites are not operated by the Service Provider.
When you share an exported file, Android’s system share sheet may let you choose another app. The selected third-party app will
handle the shared file according to its own privacy policy.
Data Sharing
The Service Provider may share automatically collected or third-party processed information only in the following cases:
- With third-party service providers used to operate ads, consent, notifications, diagnostics, or app functionality
- When required by law, legal process, or government request
- To protect rights, safety, prevent fraud, or enforce policies
- With trusted service providers who work on behalf of the Service Provider and agree to process information appropriately
The Service Provider does not sell your personal media files.
Data Retention
The Application may store temporary files, draft recordings, and exported files on your device. You may delete these files using
the app’s available options, device storage tools, or by uninstalling the Application.
Notification preferences may be stored locally on your device. Firebase Cloud Messaging registration data may be processed by
Firebase according to Firebase policies.
Third-party services may retain data according to their own privacy policies and retention rules.
If you contact the Service Provider by email, your email address and message may be retained for support, legal, and
record-keeping purposes.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application.
You may also manage ad personalization through your device settings, Google settings, or available consent/privacy options in
the Application where supported.
You may disable push notifications in the Application’s Notification Settings screen or your device settings.
Children
The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If the Service
Provider becomes aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will take reasonable
steps to delete such information.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about protecting your information. Reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards
are used to protect information processed and maintained by the Application or related services.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify users of changes by updating this page
with the new Privacy Policy.
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy regularly. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted means you
accept the updated Privacy Policy.
